James Staples has an extensive academic background in finance and real estate. He is currently working toward a BBA at Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, as well as licensure with the Texas Real Estate Commission. He has also completed the Eastdil Secured Virtual Real Estate Finance Training Program. James Staples’ professional experience includes a fellowship focused on capital markets and transactional dynamics with Global Commercial Real Estate Services.
Since 2024, Mr. Staples has been a member of the investors association on campus, where he has participated in diverse student leadership and networking opportunities. He informs the student investment fund as analyst and takes part in weekly meetings that include visits by noted financial services industry professionals.
Mr. Staples completed an internship with Builders First Source in Dallas, where he provided dedicated support to top-performing sales personnel. This included trips to construction sites, production and team management, invoicing, and accounting. He has also held a management role with the Double J&B Ranch in Cisco, where he informed the acquisition of a 200-acre property. He set in place a cost-effective system for procuring labor, feed, and equipment, and met other complex operational needs.
